INVO PEO is sponsoring a breakfast to honor Anderson County veterans on August 13 at the Clinton Community Center. During the event, military veterans from Anderson County and their families are invited to enjoy a delicious breakfast and mingle with fellow community members.
“We are grateful for the opportunity to honor veterans and their families,” said Bill Arowood Jr. President of INVO PEO. “This breakfast is a small way to say ‘thank you’ for the sacrifice they have made for our country.”
Following the meal, attendees will also have the opportunity to hear stories from the notable area resident Lauren Scott Monaghan. Monaghan served as an officer in the U.S. Coast Guard, as did her father, Commander James Scott, before her. There will also be a moment in the program to recognize all local veterans in attendance.
This breakfast is the fourth in the series of monthly events organized by the Residents of Anderson County to honor veterans. Servicemen and women of all ages and branches are invited to attend this completely free event.
